Before venturing into the world of Hollywood, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was well known as one of the faces of WWE.

It now seems as though he is keen to take up a different sport, this time picking up a rod and going fishing.

Famous for his moves in the wrestling ring, Johnson now earns his trade as a successful actor.

He is known to make regular appearances as Luke Hobbs in the Fast and Furious franchise, as well as partaking in movie production roles.

Away from the acting, nature appears to now call his name as he posted a video of him fishing on Instagram.

However, despite looking visibly chuffed with his catch, at the same time he called himself an ‘a**hole’.

Anthony Joshua admitted to Eddie Hearn he was ‘terrible’ in Jermaine Franklin fight

“This reminds me of one my favourite Shakespeare quotes – ‘Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them. Same thing with being an a**hole,” he said in the caption.

August Campbell’s ‘The I-95 A**hole Song’ is playing over the top, with Johnson adding: “And cheers to one of my all time favourite songs – sing it with me everybody.”

Despite landing a fairly large catch, ‘The Rock’ was unable to keep hold of the fish for long.

As he tried to take the bait out, it twice slipped from his grasp and made its way back into the water.

Johnson had a wide grin on his face though as he clearly enjoys his time with nature, with the post being the latest of many uploads of his fishing endeavours.

It may not be his only exploration into other sports though, with football said to be of interest to him.

Reports in May said that he could be involved in a documentary about National League side Southend United.

It is hoped that his name would help the club, who have been given a winding up petition by HMRC, to emulate the success of Wrexham, who gained promotion from the fifth tier last season.
